June 4th Sheena and Bridget started their journey home to Alan and Maisie in Australia. They currently are in quarantine, and are doing great! They took the trip over the ocean pretty well. They were a bit shook up (who wouldn't be after a 14 hr. flight), but they recovered very quickly and very nicely. There are 22 days left in their quarantine stay. Alan and Maisie are currently making plans to make the trip clear across Australia so that they can meet their beautiful girls for the first time. I can't wait , especially for Maisie to meet them!! They will have an absolutely wonderful home where they will be very loved and very spoiled!
Much Love to you Alan and Maisie!!!
Sheena and Bridget are tentatively scheduled to leave the 20th of May for Australia. They have had all of their tests and bloodwork completed and are ready to go.
We received the registrations on the pups that are still with us! All AKC is waiting on now is a certified Pedigree from Fran but the AKC has told me that she has ordered one from England and will get it to them as soon as she gets it!
We received the import permits to get Bridget and Sheena ready to go home with Alan & Maisie! So now we are on to the next step!!
The papers have been sent and should arrive in Australia anytime now for the Greaves to apply for the permits to bring Sheena and Bridget home. I believe we are looking at about 2 months from now these beautiful girls will be on their way to their new home with Alan, Maisie, Saxon & Dusty!! Hard to believe that time is so close at hand!!
GOOD NEWS!!!! I received the DNA certificate today to show that the DNA test has been completed and successful! To the owner's of the pups from this litter...if you are interested in a copy of the DNA Certificate for your records you may contact me either by phone or e-mail and I will send a copy out to you immediately!
The puppies are getting a taste of their first real snow here! They really have a blast in it! They make sure they trample down every little bit of it. It is so cute to watch them playing in it. Later we will have them in to warm up beside the fireplace.
They have all done very well with leaving the Christmas presents alone under the tree....it is the ornaments that we have to worry about! They are more interested in them, which kind of surprised us as we thought for sure the way they like to tear up paper that the gifts for sure would be torn open by now.
Okay I decided I would try out a blog page and see how it goes. Not sure the exact content that will be in it as of yet...but you know it will be about Irish Wolfhounds!
